Lussan, Village Médiéval - Labelled as one of the "most beautiful villages of France - Les Plus Beaux Villages de France. A perched hill top medieval village, 2km walk across open country from Beth or 5 minutes in your car.

Les Concluses - Natural limestone gorge, mostly accessible only by foot (or kayak when it's rained).  There is a car park 10 mins drive from Beth from where to start your walk.

 

Menhir de La Lèque- a prehistoric monolith in the hills above the property, about a 45 minutes walk through the Garrigues landscape.

​

Uzès - Our wonderful local town, the old centre is car free and offers hours of pottering, window shopping, coffee drinking and eating.  Markets on Saturday and Wednesday.

 

Mont Bouquet - local view point and hang-gliding launch spot.  20 mins by car.

Le Pont du Gard - designated a world heritage site by UNESCO, the Pont du Gard aqueduct is one of France's most visited ancient sites.  Situated close to Nimes and Uzes, 30 mins by car.

​

La Caverne du Pont D'arc - In the heart of Ardèche, the Pont d’Arc Cavern, the largest decorated cave replica in the world features an extraordinary collection of paintings, drawings, and engravings reproduced from the Chauvet Cave, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

​

Ardèche Gorge which offers, hiking, kayaking and horse riding to name but a few activities.

 

​Avignon, Nimes, Arles, Montpellier and Orange are all an easy drive from the property.

​

For the adventurous try canoeing, hang gliding, paragliding, rock climbing plus plenty more activities close by.

An ancient Roman aqueduct built in the first century AD to transport water to Nemausus (Nîmes). Located near Vers-Pont-du-Gard in southern France, it is one of the best-preserved Roman structures and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1985 for its historical and architectural significance.
